Buena Park Emblem Club #340 donates homemade blankets to veterans organization

Buena Park Emblem Club #340 members presented homemade crocheted lap blankets to Rich Bahrens from Vet to Vet Organization[1] Friday, April 14 at Buena Park Elks Lodge #2046.

Club member Beverly Vanaken crocheted these blankets from yarn donated to the club. This will be the second batch of blankets she has made for Vet to Vet Organization. The blankets will be distributed to Veterans at the Long Beach Veterans Hospital.

The Emblem Club is proud of their charity works will many Veterans projects. Money is raised through the ongoing Friday Bake Sale held at the Buena Park Elks #2046, 7212 Melrose St., Buena Park, during the "Gary's Classic Car Show"[2] on Fridays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The car show is free and open to the public.
