A Police car in Christchurch has copped it, after a t-bone crash.
Police are investigating a crash between a BMW and one of their own vehicles.
A police spokeswoman said the t-bone crash happened at 2.10pm in Christchurch's central city on Wednesday.
The nose of a late-model BMW was severely damaged in the collision, while the left-hand side of the Police car bore the brunt of the force.
A police spokeswoman said the scene of the crash at the intersection of Bealey Ave and Durham St North had to be cleaned up.
A St John spokesman said one person was taken to Christchurch Hospital with moderate injuries.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
