Police Car Backs Into Woman On Bed-Stuy Street
BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A police car backed up and rammed into a woman on a Bed-Stuy street Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The officers were parked near Saratoga and St. Marks avenues around 12:30 p.m. when they thought they saw a crime in action and decided to pursue the suspects, police said.
An officer threw the car into reverse and backed up into a 23-year-old woman behind the patrol car, police said.
Emergency responders rushed the woman to Brookdale Hospital where she was treated for not life-threatening injuries to her back, hand and foot, said police.
