Photographer captures aftermath of car 'explosion' in Nottingham

A car caught fire in a Nottingham street at the weekend.
One crew from Arnold Fire Station was called to a vehicle fire in Aidan Gardens, in Rise Park, at around 11.30pm on Saturday (March 4).

The car was well-alight when firefighters arrived at the scene, and they used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire.

The blaze, which left the car severely damaged, had been dealt with by 11.55pm. Photographer James Murrin captured the blaze on camera.
He said: "I took this photo of a car which exploded at around 11.20pm.

"As soon as I heard the bang I ran out with my camera and caught the car engulfed in flames."
