If Disney Makes A ‘TRON’ Reboot With Jared Leto As The Lead I Will Turn This Car Around
God fucking dammit.
Shout out to Birthmoviesdeath[1] for passing along the almost incomprehensible information that Disney is in the early stages of a Tron franchise reboot starring Jared Leto.
No thank you.
Apparently years after shelving Joseph Kosinski's proposed Tron 3 project, they are scrapping the whole thing to force another two hours of Jared Leto on the world.
Yaaaaay.
Sources say this new project is not a direct sequel and is being built out of the source code of the deleted Tron 3 script. Leto would play a character named Ares, who has not appeared on screen before but was a key player in that script.
There's no script or director attached yet, just Jared Leto. And we've seen how well having no script[2] and barely any movie and just focusing on Jared Leto being an asshole[3] works.

I know more franchise bullshit[4] is just what I was looking forward to.
